Our Pastor

Peter Brookes MSc MBCS CITP PMP

On the 17th October 2004 Peter Brookes was commissioned as the Lay Pastor at Studley Baptist Church by Barrie Smith (Regional Minister) from the Heart of England Baptist Association.

Peter has been a committed Christian since 1978 being baptized by full immersion in a Pentecostal church. From there Peter was called to a Free Evangelical Church where he assisted in leading worship with his guitar. His secular career moved Peter and his family to Wittering near Peterborough, where he worshipped in an Anglican/Methodist shared church, before moving to Studley in 1993. Since that time, he has been a member of Studley Baptist Church, leading worship, preaching, a deacon, and now the lay-pastor.

Pete is married to Kim and has two sons, Nathan and Jonathan, who are all involved in the worship band, and other church activities.
