The Leadership

The leadership team, or deaconate, is made up of the pastor and nine deacons. The deacons are elected by the church members to serve for a 3-year term at the end of which they stand down or offer themselves for re-election. The deaconate includes the offices of Church Secretary and Treasurer who are elected by the church members from within the diaconate.

The deaconate meet at least monthly to seek the Lord's leading for SBC, and to discuss general business and administration. They also hold the position of trustees of Studley Baptist Church.
