Baptisms

The reason why our church is called a Baptist church is because we practice Believer's Baptism. We believe that the Bible is very clear in instructing those who believe to be baptised. Jesus was baptised by John the Baptist before spending 40 days and nights in the wilderness. 

Peter urged everyone who believed to " Repent and be baptised, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." Acts 2:38

It is our belief from reading the Scriptures that only those who have made their own proclamation of faith can be baptised, and this is not something anyone else can do for you.
